Yippee Events LTD (trading as Yippee Tents)

These terms and conditions outline the basis upon which you hire equipment and accommodation from Yippee Events LTD, trading as Yippee Tents (“we”, “us”, “our”).

Please ensure that the information you provide when booking is accurate and complete. We are not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by you.

We reserve the right to correct typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers and availability at any time, including after an order has been submitted.

Definitions

Accommodation

Refers to all tents, structures, furnishings, bedding, airbeds, equipment and associated items supplied by us.

Contract

The legally binding agreement between you and Yippee Events LTD for the hire of accommodation and related services.

Event

The festival or event where the accommodation will be installed, as stated in your booking.

Services and Equipment

Details of services and equipment are published on our website and may change without notice.

We will supply the accommodation and services as described in your booking. We are not responsible for services controlled by third parties (including but not limited to festival infrastructure such as water, electricity, security, sanitation or access).

If issues arise due to site-wide infrastructure failures, we will take reasonable steps to assist, but delays or disruption caused by third parties are outside our control.

Site Location and Booking Finalisation

We cannot guarantee a specific location within a festival site. Site allocation is determined by the event organiser and overall sales volumes.

Your booking is confirmed only once payment has been received in accordance with the payment schedule. The final balance is due 6 weeks prior to the event. Failure to pay by this date may result in automatic cancellation.

Deposits become non-refundable after the final balance due date.

Bookings made within 6 weeks of the event cannot be grouped with existing bookings.

Images are representative only. Final supplied products may vary.

All colours, sizes and measurements are approximate.

Data Sharing

Your booking information may be shared with the relevant event organiser where necessary for operational, security or access purposes.

Transfer of Accommodation Bookings

Bookings are non-transferable without prior written consent from Yippee Events LTD.

We are not responsible for honouring bookings obtained through unofficial or unauthorised sources.

Festival Tickets

You must hold the correct event ticket to access the festival and your accommodation.

We are not responsible if you fail to obtain appropriate event tickets.

We strongly advise customers not to purchase accommodation without first securing valid event entry tickets.

Rental Period

The rental period begins on your allocated arrival date and ends on the event closing date.

Hire charges and any damage deposit are payable as stated on your booking.

If a damage deposit is required, it will be refunded after inspection, less any deductions for damage, loss or excessive cleaning.

Accommodation remains the property of Yippee Events LTD at all times.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

All bookings are non refundable, exceptions may apply at the discretion of Yippee Events LTD

Cancellation requests must be made in writing to the email address provided on your booking confirmation.

We recommend suitable insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.

Amendments

Amendments are subject to availability.

If reducing booking value after full payment, overpayments will be refunded less a £25 administration fee.

No amendments are permitted within 6 weeks of the event.

Event Cancellation and Risk Allocation

You acknowledge that festival events are complex, third-party organised events and may be cancelled, postponed or materially altered for reasons beyond our control.

By entering into this Contract, you agree that your booking secures:

Dedicated allocation of accommodation stock
Advance preparation, cleaning and packing
Staffing commitments
Transport and logistics scheduling
Loss of opportunity to re-sell the accommodation

These costs and commitments are incurred well in advance of the Event.

If the Event is cancelled, postponed or prevented from taking place for any reason outside our control (including but not limited to organiser decision, force majeure, extreme weather, public health restrictions or organiser insolvency), you acknowledge that:

We shall not be liable for the cancellation of the Event.
All payments made are non-refundable.
No compensation shall be payable.
You are responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance cover.

You further acknowledge that the risk of Event cancellation rests with the Event organiser and attendees, not Yippee Events LTD.

Acceptance and Condition

You must inspect your accommodation on arrival.

Faults must be reported within one hour of discovery to on-site staff.

We reserve the right to substitute accommodation with equivalent specification.

No smoking or open flames are permitted inside accommodation.

You are responsible for leaving the accommodation in good condition.

Accommodation must not be moved, altered or modified.

Liability and Safety

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We exclude liability for loss or damage arising from your use of the accommodation.
The booking holder is responsible for the conduct of their group.
You are responsible for any damage caused to accommodation or contents.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Complaints

Issues must be raised onsite during the event.

If unresolved, written complaints must be submitted within 14 days of the event end date.

Noise and Environment

Festival environments involve late-night noise, production activity and vehicle movement. Such disturbance is inherent to festivals and does not constitute grounds for refund.

Website Terms of Use

Use of our website constitutes acceptance of these terms.

Content is provided for personal use only. Commercial use requires written consent.

We are not responsible for third-party websites linked from our site.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland.

Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Northern Ireland courts.

Evaluation Terms (If Applicable)

Where products are supplied for evaluation:

Yippee Events LTD grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for internal evaluation use only during the agreed evaluation period.
